Retirement Plans College
Attaining retirement plan mastery or maintaining your designation, the Retirement Plans College allows you to meet both. The Retirement College has an IRA preparatory course called the IRA College for the Certified IRA Services Professional designation (CISP). Along with the IRA College, there are additional courses that count towards continuing education requirements for numerous designations. These include the Certified IRA Services Professional, (CISP), Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CFTA), Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) and other notable designations.
Achieving accreditation in the retirement plan field separates financial professionals from the rest. The American Bankers Association has a designation that demonstrate proficiency in Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRA). The Certified IRA Services Professional designation, the CISP, is sought after by many retirement professionals and institutions including self-directed IRA administrators, trust companies, broker dealers, banks, registered investment advisors, certified financial planners, certified public accountants, credit unions and many others.

As an approved course by the American Bankers Associations, taking the course lowers the required years of experience from 4 years to 2 years. Along with the Certified IRA Services Professional designation, the course also qualifies for CE credits for other designations including the Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) and the Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP). This course provides 27.75 credits of continuing education. The course instructor is John Paul Ruiz QKA CISP.
